the "queen anne" pistol
While any firelock made during the reign of Queen Anne whether it be pistol, rifle, or musket is technically a "Queen Anne" the "Queen Anne Pistol" is what is referred to here. These pistols have some common features that classify them as a "Queen Anne"
1 The lock is integrated to the breech, there is no lock plate to unscrew.
2. The frizzen spring is mounted reverse, this is due to the location of the breech
3. The barrel unscrews, this is evidenced in the picture by the small tab on the bottom.
In the future another one will be built, pictures of the first are coming soon to "past projects"
